Vision 7 lets you monitor an individual student computer with live view.
Live view lets you see a real time full screen view of a student’s computer. This way you can monitor student progress to identify success. You can supervise your students to keep them on task or you can document off-task behavior.
Live view can be found in the supervision section of the home tab. It lets you select an individual student computer to view.
Simply click the live view icon and you can select a student that you want to view. You can also find live view on the student thumbnail toolbar, or you can simply double click a student thumbnail to see a live view of the student’s computer.
You can click the blank screen icon to show the student that you’re watching. Snapshot lets you document what’s going on on the student screen. Everything is time and date stamped.
Vision will also prompt you to save your screenshots before you close it.
Live view keeps students on task and it allows the teacher to monitor their progress.
Continue onto the next tutorial, to learn how to use the basic pointer tools.
