Netop Remote Control establishes secure tunnels and adds Windows 10 support

August 18, 2015

The release of Netop Remote Control 12.2 extends Netop’s secure connectivity options to Windows 10 users and embedded devices

With today’s release of Netop Remote Control 12.2, the leader in secure remote access for complex networks created a new standard for consolidated support.  Netop Remote Control now includes our tunneling tool for secure access into devices where traditional desktop interfaces are not available and full support of Windows 10.  This release expands Netop’s industry-leading connectivity options – to enable connectivity into embedded systems and support Windows 10 upgrades.

Netop’s tunneling tool allows users to create a secure, encrypted tunnel to target devices. Within a tunnel session, user tools interact with the target device with full encryption – enabling tools like Telnet to be used without maintaining VPNs or compromising PCI compliance.  Tunnels can be used to remotely access POS devices, gas pumps and production technology without graphical interfaces while maintaining compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FIPS and other industry standards.

This new release also includes support of Windows 10.  Enterprise IT teams have been taking advantage of the Windows 10 upgrade window at a fast pace.  Netop Remote Control supports them with seamless, secure connectivity as they conduct their Windows 10 migrations.

With this release of Netop Remote Control, Netop continues to respond to the demands of retailers, financial institutions, manufacturers and other customers who demand a secure and consolidated tool for support and managing vendor access in their complex network environments.  Learn more about this release of Netop Remote Control by visiting
