Print-Limit Legacy Product Support

Print-Limit replaced by PrintLimit Pro print management software

Print-Limit, the first generation print management software used by schools and universities around the world to manage and control printing costs, has been superceded by PrintLimit Pro, which offers a more advanced print management solution. PrintLimit Pro provides all of the functionality of Print-Limit, and more, including cross-platform support that is scalable to meet the needs of the largest educational institutions.

Sales discontinued, upgrades to PrintLimit Pro available

Customers who have purchased or were evaluating the use of Print-Limit are encouraged to upgrade to Netop PrintLimit Pro, which provides significant enhancements over Print-Limit. All sales of Print-Limit have been discontinued effective January 1, 2009. 

Per Netop's policy:

  • Print-Limit customers with valid Annual Upgrade Program or Annual Support and Upgrade Program (AUP/ASUP) contracts from GenevaLogic may upgrade to Netop PrintLimit Pro at no charge.
  • Print-Limit customers without a valid AUP/ASUP may purchase an upgrade to Netop PrintLimit Pro at a 70% discount during 2009. 
  • New or additional licenses of Print-Limit can no longer be purchased.  
  • AUP/ASUP's for Print-Limit can no longer be purchased or renewed.
  • Technical support continues to be available for customers through 2009.
  • There will be no further updates to Print-Limit.
  • Existing customers may continue to download copies of Print-Limit from this Web site.
  • Knowledge Base articles may still be accessed from this Web site, but will not be updated.
  • Print-Limit will be terminated effective January 1, 2010.

 

Knowledge Base

Netop is in the process of porting content from the GenevaLogic Knowledge Base into the Netop Knowledge Base. At present, please continue to check the GenevaLogic Knowledge Base for information on Print-Limit.
