ProtectOn2 was discontinued as a product effective August 31, 2009, terminated as a product effective August 31, 2010 and has been replaced by Netop ProtectOn Pro.

Per Netop's policy, this means: 

• Customers with valid Netop Upgrade Insurance (NUI) policies may purchase Netop ProtectOn Pro.
• Customers without a valid NUI policy may purchase an upgrade to Netop ProtectOn Pro.
• New licenses can no longer be purchased.
• Additions to existing licenses can no longer be purchased.
• This product cannot be upgraded.
• The software can no longer be downloaded in any form.
• Technical support is no longer available. 
• Knowledge Base articles may still be accessed from this Web site, but will not be updated.
