ProtectOn2 was discontinued as a product effective August 31, 2009, and has been replaced by Netop ProtectOn Pro. Per Netop's policy, this means: 

• Customers with valid Netop Upgrade Insurance (NUI) policies may upgrade to Netop ProtectOn Pro at no charge.
• Customers without a valid NUI policy may purchase an upgrade to Netop ProtectOn Pro.
• New licenses of ProtectOn2 can no longer be purchased.
• Additions to existing ProtectOn2 licenses can no longer be purchased.
• Netop Upgrade Insurance for ProtectOn2 can no longer be purchased or renewed.
• Technical support continues to be available for customers with valid existing NUI agreements through the period of the agreement.
• The source code is frozen and will not be recompiled again.
• Existing customers may continue to download copies of Netop ProtectOn2 from this Web site until the product is terminated.
• Knowledge Base articles may still be accessed from this Web site, but will not be updated.
• The product will be terminated effective August 31, 2010.

Netop is in the process of porting content about ProtectOn2 from the GenevaLogic Knowledge Base into the Netop Knowledge Base. At present, please continue to check the GenevaLogic Knowledge Base for information on Netop ProtectOn2.
