Netop Instruct replaced by Netop School

As part of the long term planning process for Netop's educational software products, the company has decided to discontinue the development of Netop Instruct, which was a variation of Netop School developed to support corporate training applications, and focus continued development efforts on Netop School. The differences between Netop School and Netop Instruct were small, while the development of version 6 of Netop School, which offers a highly customizable and streamlined new interface, offers significant additional benefits for both traditional educational customers and the corporate training environment.

Netop Instruct sales discontinued, upgrades to Netop School6 available

Customers who have purchased or were evaluating the use of Netop Instruct are encouraged to upgrade to Netop School6, which provides significant enhancements over previous versions of Netop School and Netop Instruct. All sales of Netop Instruct have been discontinued effective January 1, 2009. 

Per Netop's policy:

• Netop Instruct customers with valid Netop Upgrade Insurance (NUI) may upgrade to Netop School6 at no charge.
• Netop Instruct customers without a valid NUI may purchase an upgrade to Netop School6.
• New licenses of Netop Instruct can no longer be purchased.
• Additional licenses to Netop Instruct NOLP agreements can no longer be purchased.
• Netop Upgrade Insurance for Netop Instruct can no longer be purchased or renewed.
• Technical support continues to be available for customers with valid existing NUI agreements through the period of the agreement.
• The source code is frozen and will not be recompiled again.
• Existing customers may continue to download copies of Netop Instruct from this Web site.
• Knowledge Base articles may still be accessed from this Web site, but will not be updated.
• Netop Instruct will be terminated effective January 1, 2010.
