Pointer's tools annotate in real time on the presenter's screen, and may be displayed to your audience with a projector, interactive whiteboard or screen-sharing software.

Pointer puts powerful annotation tools at your fingertips. Pointer's floating toolbar can be moved or docked anywhere on your screen so it is always available when you want it and never gets in the way. Customize the toolbar to meet your needs by adding or deleting icons.
Pointer's most popular features include:
Arrow
The Arrow annotation tool can be used to dynamically point out different items in a presentation such as Powerpoint, or can be fixed in place to direct attention to a specific area of your screen. Rotate the arrow and change its color and size as desired.
Highlighter
The Highlighter tool lets you freeform draw with a transparent color. Select the color you prefer and modify the width as needed.
Spotlight
Create a spotlight that you can move across the screen. Use it to highlight an area of the screen while blocking or greying out the portion of the screen outside the spotlight. Move the spotlight as you move your mouse and focus attention where you want it.
Magnify
Use Rectangular and Oval Magnifier tools to magnify a selected portion of the screen. Content within this window is magnifed. You can click and move this window anywhere on the screen.
Snap
Capture screenshots and more using the Snap tool. Choose between windowed screenshots, full screen, and specific regions. Capture camera shots and scans. Import and export graphics, even export in HTML.
Shapes
Draw ovals and rectangles on your screen. Choose filled, transparent or outlined figures, with or without borders. Choose your color, re-size and add text to these objects as you like.
Text
The Text tool allows you to insert text at any location on your screen. Use this tool to add notes or comments to presentations, or to collect and display inputs from your audience. You can edit the text, change the font and modify the color at will.
Number
Use this tool to sequentially and automatically number your objects as you place them on the screen. Add text to each object as desired. Great for guiding students through a complex step-by-step process.
Clipart
Pointer comes with 50 clipart graphics that you can add to the Pointer toolbar to add interest to presentations. Add text to clipart for more impact.
Laser
Use the laser tool to draw attention to important areas of the screen while you are presenting. Your pointer becomes a crosshair which you click to size the laser. Choose your color, width, height and animate your laser with a second color if desired.
Cover
The cover page viewing tool lets you cover up areas of the screen that are not currently meant to be viewed. Display questions and hide the answers, or use to focus attention on a small portion of a larger image.
Zoom
Use the Zoom tool to expand a selected portion of your screen so that it occupies the entire screen. Ensure everyone sees the details with the Zoom tool.
Pen
Write or draw directly on your screen with the freeform drawing Pen tool. Choose the color and line width you like.
Erase
Use this tool to erase objects you've created on your screen, like arrows and drawings. Select specific objects to remove or erase them all.
