New CEO at Danware
The Danish IT company, Danware, has appointed 44-year-old Kurt Groth Bager as its new CEO. With his many years of experience with international leadership, Kurt Groth Bager is expected to get Danware back on the track of growth and to realize the company’s full potential.
Kurt Groth Bager is the newly appointed CEO for Danware
Birkerød, 21 February, 2008 - As of 20 February, Danware has employed Kurt Groth Bager as its new CEO. Kurt Groth Bager's main task will be to restore the economic growth for Danware. This will involve an increase in focus on Danware's subsidiaries as well as its distribution channels.
Kurt Groth Bagerer is well-known in the industry with his extensive experience in the sales and marketing of IT solutions, and he has many years of international leadership experience from several European countries. Kurt Groth Bager has since 2000 been employed at the American-based IT company, EMC, where most recently, he was General Manager responsible for Denmark, Norway, Finland, and the Baltic.
Before his employment with ECM, Kurt Groth Bager was employed as General Manager at GE Capital IT Solutions with responsibility for Denmark. Before that, he was employed at BFC Data and the Technical University of Denmark.
During his career, Kurt Groth Bager achieved a series of significant results in the building up and developing of the local organizations of international companies, and it is this experience that will help Danware to get back on track.
"Kurt Groth Bager faces a considerable task in getting Danware back on the track of growth. Over the past few years, Danware has made some important strategic decisions-among others to build up its own subsidiaries and strengthen the distribution of its products. We can offer a range of technologically leading products, and many of our markets show considerable growth. So now it is all about expanding the distribution channel and taking advantage of Danware's potential, and I'm delighted that Kurt Groth Bager will be at the forefront of this development," says Danware's Chairman of the Board, Ib Kunøe.
Focus on sales and distribution
In addition to the overall responsibility for the whole company, Kurt Groth Bager will also be specifically responsible for Danware's largest business area, Desktop Management.
"I'm particularly looking forward to helping Danware get back on the right track again. Danware has a range of technologically leading products, and it is the sales and distribution of these products that we need to get under control. This will be in close co-operation with Danware's particularly competent employees, not only in Birkerød but also in our subsidiaries around the world," says CEO, Kurt Groth Bager, Danware.
