Key Account Manager
We are looking for an experienced Sales representative to join our educational market sales team in Portland.
You thrive on generating new business revenues and you know how to drive market growth. You like being challenged and interacting with diverse people with unique perspectives, and last but not least you seek new opportunities and are ready to embrace change.
As part of our strategy to increase our education sales revenues in the US, we are recruiting an experienced Key Account Manager to join our sales team. You will be focused on selling the Netop education software solutions into our largest school district and university level accounts, closing large deals to overachieve against an annual revenue quota. Preferably, you have experience working at both the administrative and academic levels presenting new technology products and you have an entrepreneurial desire to succeed with a proven track record in outside sales, business development and sales management.
This role reports to the General Manager and Senior VP of the Americas and is based in our Portland, Oregon office.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Strategically plan and coordinate to consistently deliver sales at or above monthly and quarterly sales quotas
· Possess the leadership aptitude and work ethic to guarantee new business development
· Communicate the value of Netop to school district and university decision makers
· Provide account leadership and direction throughout the pre and post-sales process
· Work with the Netop team to drive high levels of adoption throughout the trial and across customer accounts
· Identify trends in customer satisfaction
· Lead sales and marketing efforts within targeted key accounts
Required skills and experience:
· 10+ years successful sales track record in meeting, and exceeding individual quota
· Preference for experience selling technology to large school districts and colleges
· 5+ years experience in a large account sales role
· Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success
· Assertive, aggressive results-oriented attitude
· Excellent communicator, strong interpersonal skills
· Thrive in a competitive, ever-changing environment
· Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills both in person and via phone/web presentation
· Strong technology skills
· 4 year university degree

Web Marketing Specialist - Entry Level with Training Provided
Netop, an international leader in software solutions for business and education, is seeking a Web Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for executing various parts of the overall Netop Online Strategy as defined by the Online Manager. Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to) involvement in Web content, Search Engine Marketing, Web 2.0-related projects, Web analytics, interactive design and email marketing.
This position is entry level with training provided, however some previous experience is a definite plus. The ideal candidate for this position will be an energetic self-starter with a demonstrable passion for Marketing and the Web. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable interactive marketing experience in a creative, fast-paced and results-driven environment.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
- Search Engine Marketing, including:
- Keyword research and campaign management for Pay-Per-Click(PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Collaboration with SEO vendor to further improve rankings including on-page edits and content production
- Collaboration with PPC vendor to support campaign expansions, testing and other related tasks
- Creation of new content and editing existing content on the netop.com website in close collaboration with product marketing managers
- Creating, implementing and improving drip email campaigns including content creation, email production, and call to action testing
- Supporting the development, maintenance and testing of various Web 2.0 projects to enhance the overall Netop online offering
- Web analytics - tracking and analysis of site visitor behavior to determine site improvements
- Basic web usability/readability design and development, working with our development team
- Supporting page creation, image uploading and other related tasks within our CMS system (Typo3)
Essential Skills and Experience Required
- 0-2 Years Marketing or Web-related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant major preferred
- Problem solver, with a good understanding of the latest trends in online marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to swiftly write and/or edit large amounts of web content
- Clear, friendly and professional style of communication
- Able to write compelling headlines and copy
- Adhere to AP Style, use proper spelling and grammar
- Demonstrable experience in interactive content design and ‘writing for the Web’
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
Non-Required but Beneficial Skills & Experience
- HTML, CSS and other technical web skills
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and/or Google Webmaster tools
- Knowledge of Email Vision and/or Salesforce
- Language skills: German and/or Danish

The position is located out of the Netop office in Beaverton, Oregon but reports directly to Netop’s Online Manager based in Denmark. Salary: $27,500; $30,000 OTE
Netop offers a full benefits package and a performance- based bonus program. Compensation package will be structured as $27,500 in salary and $2,500 in bonus.
