Netop Solutions A/S is a Danish company headquartered in Birkerød, north of Copenhagen.

Our subsidiary in Romania produces our software. We have sales offices in the United States, Great Britain, Switzerland and China, and we sell software to public and private clients in 80 countries. Netop Solutions A/S shares have been listed on the OMX Copenhagen Stock Exchange since 2001. We are over 130 employees.

The company was founded in 1981 under the name Danware and originally developed systems for secure trading in securities. The first remote control version, Netop Remote Control, was launched in 1987; and, at the end of the 1990s, we developed a new business area based on remote control but with a starting point in the remote operation of computers in the education sector.

2008 was a pivotal year.
The company changed its name to Netop Solutions, its international brand.
We purchased the Swiss company, GenevaLogic, and became market leaders in e-learning and classroom management. Netop Solutions introduced its third business area, Live Chat, with the product, Live Guide, as its main attraction.
