Netop School6 - latest release

Version 6.2.3 of Netop School6, released on February 10, 2012, includes enhancements for the classroom mass deployment, resolves the issue with bypassing the web policies and fixes a variety issues reported by our customers.

License keys: This maintenance release is available at no cost to all Netop School customers with version 6.2 or a valid Netop Advantage annual support and upgrade program. If customers have Netop School version 6.2 installed, no new license key is required.

Discontinuation Plan for Netop School

As part of the Vision Pro release, Netop has announced the discontinuation of Netop School. 

New and add-on licenses can be purchased through June 30, 2012 and development of the product is limited to bug fixes only. Technical support is available for customers with active Advantage plans through the end of 2013.

Netop upgrade and support policy

Netop encourages customers to stay current with the latest version of Netop School, which is Vision Pro. Upgrades to Vision Pro and technical support are free for customers who have purchased Netop School within the last year, or who have a current Netop Advantage annual support and upgrade policy.

Customers using an older version of Netop School may purchase an upgrade to Netop Vision Pro, as long as that version has not been terminated by Netop. Currently versions 6.1 and higher of Netop School are eligible for upgrades.

Version 6.0, and all older versions of Netop School have been terminated, and are not eligible for technical support or upgrade pricing. To upgrade a terminated version you will need to purchase a new license for Netop Vision Pro.
