Share your screen

Use the Demo tool to display what you're doing on your classroom computers, locking your students' keyboards and mice while you demonstrate.

Doing so gives your entire class a front-row seat. When students can see your demonstration right on their own classroom computers, it's much easier for them to pay attention, follow what you're doing, grasp key concepts and retain information over time.

Supervise students’ work

Use Classroom Monitor to see a thumbnail of each of your classroom computers, right on your display. Follow all your students' activities at once, expand one screen for more detail, label the thumbnails with your students' names and rearrange them on your display to match your seating chart.

Give yourself a bird's eye view of your whole class. Screen-monitoring makes it easy to follow everyone's progress, notice when someone needs your help and bring a distracted student back on task.

Operate classroom computers remotely

Use the Assist tool to operate classroom computers from your own controls.  You can do so independently, locking keyboards and mice while you demonstrate, or in tandem, allowing your student to use their controls, too, at the same time. When one of your students needs your help, Assist lets you jump in and show them how to move forward.

Blank screens

Get your class's attention the moment you need it. End a test or timed exercise, on time. Redirect a distracted student in an instant.

Use Blank Screen to freeze classroom computers, locking your students' keyboards and mice simultaneously.

Chat

Communicate screen-to-screen with a student, or send a message to the entire class. Help someone through a problem without disturbing their classmates. Give your students a way to approach you privately with a question. Hold anonymous class-wide discussions in which you can see who's saying what, but your students can't.

The Chat tool facilitates discussion, makes you more approachable, gives you a way to resolve off-task behavior discreetly, and encourages honest input.

Control Internet access for classroom computers

Turn Internet access on or off for all your classroom computers at the same time, whenever you need to.

Web Lock lets you make sure no one's getting distracted online while they're supposed to be doing something else. When it's time to do some online research, simply turn Internet access back on.

Manage both Macs & PCs

MyVision is compatible with both platforms. Even if your room includes both Macs and PCs, MyVision lets you manage all your classroom computers.

Compatible with Active Directory

Netop MyVision is compatible with Microsoft Active Directory. If your school uses Active Directory, MyVision will allow you to connect with your students even if they're in a different classroom.

For instance, you can send a student to work in the library or computer lab, and still retain the ability to demonstrate on their screen, offer help, keep them on task and follow their progress, just as if you were in the same room.
